All-Navy Wrestlers Compete at the 2023 USA Wrestling Open Championship

WASHINGTON – Members of the All-Navy Wrestling team competed in the USA Wrestling Open Championship last month in Las Vegas, Nev. The competition, showcasing some of the best wrestlers in the country, featured eight Navy wrestlers participating in various weight classes. Two All-Navy athletes on the team came within one victory of All-American qualifying status. All the All-Navy wrestlers performed well, showcasing their talent and potential and fighting hard against tough competition.

Members of the All-Navy Wrestling team, comprising elite wrestlers who represent the United States Navy in national and international competitions, demonstrated their technical abilities, physical prowess and mental toughness throughout the competition. Although the team did not have any champions or finalists, they displayed a strong competitive spirit and represented the Navy with pride.
